Lawn Mowing Services - Lafayette Indiana
Crew Cuts serves Lafayette, West Lafayette Indiana and the surrounding Tippecanoe County areas. We will mow turf areas as needed according to seasonal growth. We go beyond basic lawn mowing to include trimming around tree rings, flower and shrub beds and all surfaced areas bordered by grass (i.e. sidewalks, fences and driveways). We will not cut the grass more than one third of the leaf blade to ensure a healthy lawn.
Along with lawn mowing, you will, at no extra charge, receive edging along sidewalks and driveways. Edging removes the grass that grows over the edge of sidewalks and driveways for a more appealing lawn.
Spring is finally here after one of the harshest winters in recent memory! Prepare your lawn, flower beds, shrubs and landscaping for summer. Get a free estimate.
Timely winter preparation will not only keep your dormant lawn healthy through the snowy months, it will also make your lawn return even faster. Think of winter preparations as getting a head start on spring lawn care - the more you do now, the less you'll have to do later.

Our Approach to Mowing Your Lawn
How often should we mow your lawn? Mowing frequency depends on what grass varieties are grown in your yard. For instance, with cool season grass varieties such as bluegrass and fescue, or warm season grasses like zoysia, bermuda grass, or buffalo grass, we should plan on mowing down to two and half inches tall. Therefore, your cool season lawn is ready to mow when it is just under four inches tall.
Warm season grasses tend to be more resilient, so we trim these grasses a bit shorter. In general, you should plan on having us mow your grass about once a week, keeping in mind that it will need to be mowed more often at some times of the year and less often at others.
